Palm Oil Refinery

Jolaks Manufacturing Company Ltd has established a 300 MT per day physical refinery and dry fractionation plant. The purpose is to refine CPO into RBD Palm Olein (commonly known as Vegetable Cooking Oil). This will be available in white and yellow jerry cans in the following sizes in our renowned flagship brand Padi.

Jolaks is already in progress to receive ISO 9,000 and ISO 14,000 certification. Following which we will apply for ISO 22,000 certification.

ETLS Scheme
(ECOWAS Countries)

Jolaks is registered under the ETLS Scheme which has been implemented to drive more export to neighboring ECOWAS countries. Sierra Leone is at the heart of the ECOWAS region.

Benefits of the ETLS Scheme include:

• Duty free concession

• Shorter transit times to each destination port

• Cheaper freight options

We are currently exporting RBD Palm Olein, Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) and RBD Palm Stearin to neighbouring countries.

By-products

Following a further process through our dry fractionation plant we will have other by-products such as PFAD (Palm Fatty Acid Distillate) and RBD Palm Stearin.
